About the event

Log inoculation is a technique of introducing fungus to a tree/log to grow on. This is a slower process than commercial farming and the resulting mushrooms are very high quality. Wood inoculation can be done in a few ways which will be demonstrated. Participants will prepare a small log to take home, and supportive literature will be provided. Shiitake mushrooms are ideal for log inoculation. This workshop is conducted by Fungico Pty Ltd.
